Follansbee Inn - North Sutton

The breakfast was to die for. Home cooked cheese blintzes, poached eggs, yogurt parfait and more. Plus bottomless coffee! The location was just fine, right across the road from the lake where you could easily jump into scenic walks.

Well-appointed and unique room on upper floors, the staff was very kind.

this hotel is beautiful, has welcoming staff and an outstanding breakfast. i have stayed in the suite with a fireplace, central heating, and an iron. the location is amazing and incredible, next to most sightseeings, like priory ruins, that's next to the property.

That was incredibly beautiful hotel set in beautiful area, very close to restaurants, a beautiful lake with a white-steepled church and a classical church.

The breakfast was excellent, served in a beautiful dining area, and the outdoor space provided great opportunities for family bonding. Plus, Denis's warm hospitality.

For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The venue was pretty, I loved the stay and the location was lovely next to a pathway and biking all Inn options and the Lake Sunapee region. I was offered a room with great views of lake. The breakfast was awesome, with helpful and friendly staff and plenty of food. The service was great during my stay. The experience was really unforgettable, will be back...

Both a hit and a miss

The breakfasts were 1st class and served daily with a tasty variety! The atmosphere around the lake is perfect for leisurely walks or cycling.

My room lacked ventilation. The no food or drink policy in rooms felt restrictive.

Enjoyed great breakfast and access to free bikes. Air conditioning could be improved.

Fantastic breakfasts made starting the day a delight. Every morning brought something new and delicious. The care put into the food was evident, and I especially loved the poached eggs and bacon hash. The cozy atmosphere added a nice touch, especially with the small fires in the common areas during winter. Kayaking on the warm lake was such a relaxing experience, perfect for beginners and not too crowded. My room on the second floor lacked ventilation, a bit stuffy at times, and the shower had no mixer for hot and cold water were good.
